table setting ideas

I love the idea of having wedding pictures of people in the family on the tables and scattered through out the reception site so romantic and special.

Inside the tent

Both are the same wedding....

I came across this wedding and I had to post about the inside of this tent.. It is so beautiful and creative.. so much better then what it usually looks like. I love all the lights and how they hang.. candles are a must for the wedding.. Lots and lots of candles..

Cake vs. Cupcakes...hmmmm..

So I have been seeing a lot of cupcakes instead of a traditional cake... and I really love the way that this one looks.. It is really pretty and to keep in tradition we can have one of those mini wedding cakes that you see and have that as a keep sake. I kind of like it and I bet you it tastes better...

Another dress idea..

So here is another dress idea that I saw and I really like.. It wouldn't be exactly the same as the picture but something similar... I love the same color dress and then a different color sash or shade of color could work too.

Guest book

So I was going through greenweddingshoes.com like always and I came across this really cute idea.. Its not a new idea but I really love it. For the guest book you have a camera out and in this post specifically it has a polaroid camera so they come out right away, and you put the picture in place of where you would have a note for the bride and groom or have the picture under the note.. whatever.. doesn't matter.

This is just a more creative way to store your memories.. Love it.

It has been a while....

Hi my little love bugs! I miss you!! And I know that you miss me adding things to the blog. Well let me first start off by saying that I have finally picked an AMAZING wedding planner. Her name is Trina and I think I love her... Her and her team are extremely creative and I cannot wait to start putting everything together.. finally. With all of that being said I have been trying to gather some more ideas as to what I think I might be looking for with the wedding and all that jazz.

So to start off I was looking more into the dresses... I know that you have some concerns with length. I found this dress at Miss Me. It is super cute and has a great length to it. Let me know what your thougths are. I think this will look so good on ALL of you.. My only concern is that it looks like it tapers in on the bottom.. But as an idea I think this is a good option.. I am liking the one shoulder.. I don't know why...

Next is more color ideas.. These are for the boys.. I really like how the suits have these pops of colors .. Again not these exact colors but I think they are really cute and not boring. I love the blue gray suit with the pop of red.. Exactly the kind of thing that I want to go for ..

Chairs

I saw these chairs and how they are draped with fabric. I love the way this looks because it dresses up the regular chairs and enhances the way they look. Really nice..

Lounge ideas

So more about what I pointed out yesterday with the fire pit and lounge chairs... I really like the idea of having an area mixed in with assigned seating having some lounge chairs so people can mingle and hang out together. I don't love the style of these chairs but along this idea.

Recption ideas

I saw this idea and it was already something that I was thinking of any ways but I especially love the idea of having a little fire pit in the middle of the lounging chairs. This will be really nice for after the dinner and people want to just hang out and relax and not feel tied down to their chairs.

Favor ideas..

So when I was searching through the blogs yesterday I came across this idea to embroider handkerchief's for your guests. I thought that this was such a great idea and also a creative idea. Possibly a DIY project for me to do. Here are some pictures that I found on stylemepretty.com

I really love the back drop of the ceremony and how everyone has sun umbrellas. So pretty.

I love this table setting. The glass ware is amazing and I love the simplicity of the tall candles and the single flowers. really beautiful.

 This is kind of an addition to the glass blue bottles that I posted about yesterday. I love the vintage flower holders.. They don't have to be blue but I think they look pretty and when places with the right flowers they really make a statement.

Wish lanterns

So I love this idea. These are wish lanterns that you light up and they fly into the sky and burn  into nothing. They are so beautiful and fun.
